Malinda Katipearachchi is a prominent management consultant in the field of startup, micro-business, and SME Development. He currently serves as a Committee Member of Student Development of ACCA Sri Lanka and He is a regular resource person of ACCA policy insight Middle East South Asia Division. He is a former member of CIMA student development committee as well. Further, he served as ACCA Brand Ambassador for Sri Lanka at age of nineteen.
Malinda is a former visiting lecturer for advance financial accounting for the department of accounting university of Colombo. He was a lecturer in ACCA for management as well. He is a Member of ACCA-UK and CIMA- UK and He holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. Further, he is a Presidential Gold Medalist for education. Further, he is a Licenced registered company secretary in Sri Lanka. In terms of experience, he has over 10 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, financial training, corporate governance, banking, investment banking, IFRS consulting, business consulting, tax, marketing, startup development, entrepreneurship, financial management, motivational speaking. Among his publications, he wrote a book called The Young Business Leader: Back to Earth (Amazon Publications) which provides short practical guide to survive in early stages of business.
